First off I'm 16 and to be honest I cant see why teenagers these days (that makes me sound really old lol) only look up to people like 'Justin bieber' or 'miley Cyrus' or 'Selena gomez' Don't get me wrong I don't have any problem what so ever with people looking up to and aspiring to be like these people, I look up plenty of celebs like...angelina jolie because she's a great actress and humanitarian or Audrey hephburn because she was likewas an amazing actress but it's one thing to enjoy their music and movies, it's a totally different thing to follow their every move and obsesss over who's dating who I think that teens have been so blinded and are so obsessed with all the celebrity tabloid trash on the latest 'goss' on Kerry katona or Katie price that we've stopped aspiring to be lawyers or doctors and we've stopped looking up to people like sir winston Churchill and Florence nightingale or great artists and writers like William Shakespeare and michelangelo or Jane Austen. I saw one girl at school writing Mrs (her name) Bieber on the library chairs with Tipex and in class when the teacher asked who Isaac Newton was and how he effected how we live today she didn't have the slightest idea who he was! She tought he was some guy famous for inventing something!!! So WDYT Are we as teenagers filling our heads with stupid nonsense with this whole celeb thing or is it an important part of your lifestyle? Thanks :)... Read More »
